After successfully completing the swiss federal matura certificate in business and administration, Christian Bodmer worked for the state bank of St. Gallen (St. Galler Kantonalbank) during 2 years, after which he moved on to the city of Zurich as a programmer and software developer. For the next 8 years and in a variety of capacities, he took part in a large number of information technology projects for a wide selection of clients, including some well-known companies such as Telekurs, ZKB, Eli Lilly & company, sunrise and Heineken, which he completed successfully. During the time of 2001 - 2002 he took courses at the swiss school for IT management (WISS), from which he graduated successfully as swiss federal certified information technology services manager.

In his projects, Christian Bodmer served in capacities such as project manager, service manager, team leader, quality manager, software designer, engineer, systems builder, internal auditor, and programmer. He possesses a wide variety of programming skills ranging from C/C++ development under Windows and Unix to SQL databases and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, DOM, ASP and PhP.
